Become A Host Home
If you have a spare room in your home, you can provide youth experiencing homelessness with the safety and security they need to reach their full potential. You can give them a HOME.
Support The House. Change Lives.
THANK YOU for thinking about making a contribution to Karis, Inc. and/or one of our programs: The House, Karis Apartments, Zoe House, and the Fourth House/Street Outreach Program. Your support means hope and promise for homeless teens and youth in Mesa County. There are a number of ways that you can give (see below), and all gifts are tax-deductible:
You may give online or sign up for reoccurring donations with your Checking or Savings Account. To set this up, please call 970.986.8588.
Please send your payment to:

“By donating to The House, I know I am helping change lives. Seeing the life transformations that take place gives me hope and encouragement for my own family.”
Volunteer & Donation Drop Off Info
We would LOVE to have you volunteer with us. Volunteers do all sorts of things for House programs: they oversee shifts at The House, they welcome teens off the street at the Fourth House, and they help with special projects.
To get more information, call 970.234.1818 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
To apply, download our volunteer application by clicking here.
Two hundred teens go through a lot of just about everything: clothes, bread, milk, eggs, paper towels, burritos. . . . .
You can help by dropping off any of the items on our Always Needed List to our offices at First Baptist Church at the corner of 7th and Grand in Grand Junction. (They have refrigeration, so cold/frozen items are fine.)
DONATE A CAR
You can donate your used car or vehicle through our very own “Wheels That Heal” program. Proceeds from the sale of your vehicle help feed and shelter youth in Mesa County and, because we sell our own vehicles, more of your gift goes to these kids.
To donate or learn more, call 970.234.2700 or go to www.wheelsthathealthewesternslope.org
